It's been 5 years since my last visit to Boracay, and it has certainly become a lot more commercialised since that first time. The water on White Beach is now tainted with green algae, and the food quality was not particularly good. Bands at night were not a patch on those playing in Thailand or Vietnam. But, this 5 day trip over Tet was a nice chance for Quynh & I to relax in what is still a beautiful location.
